Getzen 400 series trumpet serial number#
I say that the instrument is early 1970s based on the serial number and online documentation. And I see nothing to suggest that the instrument is not ready to play. The valves and slides are operating properly. There are no dents and/or evidence of any repairs. This instrument is in excellent condition with some scratches and some small areas of wear(see pictures) However. However, I have sold many trumpets on eBay over the last 10 years and have never had one returned or questioned with regard to the instrument's condition. I n eed to tell you that my knowledge of trumpets is somewhat limited.
